New Repeater Reportedly Active in West County

December 16, 2012

According to W3GHO on Friday’s mailbag net, a new amateur radio repeater is active in west Erie county. It is on 146.985 with a negative offset and the standard PL tone of 186.2.

I have not yet gotten to confirm this repeater is active, but when I do I will add it to the repeater list on the Amateur Radio page. If anyone has used, heard or can try this repeater and let me know of its status, please comment to this post—your help would be greatly appreciated.

Please also note that PA State Police appear to be carrying out traffic on the 155.58 base and 154.95 mobile freqs for Erie this morning. Listen in and see what you hear-I haven’t heard PSP in ages so that was a nice treat!
